STORM COMICS is a new independent line of British comics by writer and artist, Michael Crouch.

The mission is quite simply to produce good stories, well told.  I kicked off in May of 2008 with my first title, a one-off sci-fi tale entitled AFTERLIFE. That was followed over the following twelve months by the 2-part, true historical stories of Jonathan Wild and Jack Sheppard in THIEF-TAKER GENERAL. Reader feedback has been positive and I very much hope you will want to buy copies.

As you can see this site has links to various artworks and comics I've done in the past and there is of course The Storm Comics Blog which is updated regularly. Stick around a bit, have a look around and maybe buy a comic or three. As a new British independent, Storm Comics values your support

Cheers,
Michael.

AFTERLIFE
TRUTH IS WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE
Why are the dead trying to make contact with the inhabitants of the small Earth-colony world, Nightfall? What is the significance of the stone cross that the colonists find buried deep underground? And what do the long-dead alien race that once lived there have to do with the mysterious radio blackout on the planet?
Maybe, just maybe, there are other worlds out there beyond the purely planetary. And perhaps the Nightfall colony are about to set one free.

THIEF-TAKER GENERAL #2
CHAPTER 2: THE TRIPLE TREE
While Jonathan Wild's empire and fame grow, Jack Sheppard finds himself incarcerated at Newgate, Britain's most notorious prison ... and escapes!
And to follow it up, he escapes again! And again!
Each escape is more audacious than the last and as he turns from petty thief to folk hero, Wild's jealousy and desire for recognition lead him to reckless acts.
And one act in particular will see both men sharing the same destiny.

THIEF-TAKER GENERAL #1
CHAPTER 1: CORPORATION OF THIEVES
The true stories of two remarkable men. One, a petty criminal and the greatest escapologist of his age, or possibly of any age. The other, a man born in poverty who made his name as the City of London's greatest thief-taker, the nearest thing the capital had for law.
But the thief-taker was also a thief-maker and the escapologist was the man who would not submit to authority … any authority! When the two men's lives collide, history will be made.
